Leather Lane Market
A busy market in central London which arose from a debt.
This market's history is reaching 400 years, and it all rose from a debt of king Charles II. He payed his debt in form of a charter for a street in order to set up a market by a merchant.
Today the market is usually bustling with people, busy stalls occupied mainly by serving amazing street food, selling fruit and vegetables, clothes, or flowers.
There are various shops on the Leather Lane Street as well, so you might want to check it out even out of opening hours of the market. Also just around a corner is a square called Brooke's Market with several benches for you to sit down and enjoy your food.
