Description

History tied with unique environment is the destination of foreign, and also domestic tourists.

The castle and its beautiful surrounding are temptations on their own, along with the outlook on the city's historical centre, Danube river and Petržalka borough. The castle area offers variety of places to relax, many benches to rest and other interesting hideouts...you just need to look a little. You will find here a brass Svätopluk statue. Also a small children playground is here.

You'll get to the castle with a staircase leading from the centre, or from Palisády street where is a trolleybus stop.

If you didn't catch the opening hours, or if you already have explored the castle area, we suggest to see the space below the castle walls. They all offer many places, each specific and individual.

The most established and largest market in Bratislava. A place full of stalls with fruit, vegetables, and clothes. You can also get some refreshments and serious meals here. One can also benefit from rather good accessibility of public transport.
