Description

The largest park in Bratislava named after famous Slovak writer.

With space of 42 hectares, much people spend time here mainly in the summer. You can utilize the spacious greenery for activities or you can go for a run in this amazing area.

You can even search for your own ´personal´ bench! Since the park has 12 large benches, each dedicated to a particular astrological sign, everyone can seek his own. You will also find here a beautiful gothic arbor which previously served as a tower of Františkánsky church. Closer to a shopping center there is also a large fountain with three doves.

The whole area is situated between the bridge of Slovak National Uprising and the Old Bridge next to waterfront of Danube river (the opposite side of historical center). Just next to the park there´s a shopping center Aupark.

A different perspective on urbanized environment offers this particular path. You can experience a slightly different walk on a different place. Besides, there is an awesome calisthenic construction where you can train. There are a few jungle gyms and a sandbox for kids....
Park with a lot of green space and picnic benches. This more of a leisure park offers a lot of space for any activities, or walks, and has a lovely set of picnic tables for days out.
